Summer Classes and Workshops

Winner of 2008 Fieries and Snuffies Residency for Emerging Writers Announced
Shashi S. Bhat of Baltimore, MD was named winner of this year’s contest by judges Delfine Red Shirt and Esther Lee. Honorable mention is Farrah Field from Brooklyn, NY.
Poetry Center’s Summer Hours
Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday – 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Closed Saturday and Sunday (except for Poetry Joeys events)
Closed on July 4th in observance of Independence Day
