Due to current budget and restructuring constraints being experienced throughout the College of Humanities, the annual Symposium has been cancelled for 2009.

In lieu of the Symposium, Partnership Across Languages plans to offer several professional development workshops during the Fall semester. Watch this Website for updates and registration information.

PAL will continue as an outreach resource for second language teachers in the coming year. As all other units at the University of Arizona have been asked to do in the current economic environment, PAL will be evaluating its structure and mission to be able to deliver the most efficient service to the teaching community and to language students.
