Developed by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, this Website
shares the prehistoric artwork of the cave at Lascaux. The site explains the
geological and historical timeline of the cave, the story and circumstances
of its discovery, the circumstances of its closing in 1963, the construction
of a copy of the cave, and a virtual tour through the different rooms.
